Genuine Dream catchers
Fair-trade Dream catchers | Dream catchers The Native American Style Dream catchers are handmade objects based on a hoop made of either willow or similar natural material with a loose net in the middle and decorated with items unique to the particular dream catcher. One of the old Native American Ojibway - Chippewa traditions was to hang a Native American Dream catcher in their homes. They believe that the night air is filled with dreams both good and bad. The Dream catcher, when hung, moves freely in the air and catches the dreams as they float by. The good dreams know the way and slip through the webbing and slide down off the soft feathers so gently that the sleeper below sometimes hardly knows he is dreaming. The bad dreams, not knowing the way, get entangled in the webbing and perish in the first light of day.
